How to Bring Your Own Phone to Assurance Wireless
Joining Assurance Wireless with your existing phone is simple! Here’s how:
1. Check compatibility:
Make sure your phone is unlocked and compatible with our network—most phones are! Use our compatibility tracker to check. Don’t have a compatible phone? Don’t worry! We’ll provide a free, basic Smartphone to eligible customers.
2. Apply for Lifeline:
Verify that Lifeline service is available in your state and complete the application. During the process, you’ll be given the option to bring your own phone.
3. Activate your SIM Card:
Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a new Assurance Wireless SIM Card by mail. You’ll need to activate your service and use your phone within 30 days.
4. Manage your service:
You can keep track of your usage and add features like spam blocking and more through “My Account.”
