How do I activate my Assurance Wireless phone?
Activating your new device is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to get started and start enjoying your service from Assurance Wireless.
Step 1: Charge Your Phone
Before activating, ensure your phone has enough battery power. Plug it into a charger and wait until it’s sufficiently charged for setup.
Step 2: Turn On Your Phone
Once your phone is charged, press and hold the power button to turn it on. Look for a welcome screen to begin the setup process.
Step 3: Insert Your SIM Card (If Necessary)
Your phone may already come with a SIM card installed. If it’s not pre-installed, follow these steps or watch this short video:
- Locate the SIM card slot, usually on the side or back of the device.
- Insert the Assurance Wireless SIM card included in your package.
- Secure the back cover (if applicable) and restart the phone.

Step 4: Follow the Activation Prompts
Once your phone turns on, it may automatically guide you through the activation process. If not, call 1-888-321-5880 from another phone to activate your device.
Step 5: Test Your Phone
After activation is complete, ensure your phone is working properly.
