Lifeline eligibility varies by state, but in general, you will be eligible for free service if your household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines, or if you participate in certain federal assistance programs like Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Federal Public Housing Assistance or other public assistance programs.
