How Often Can I Apply for Lifeline?
There's no specific time limit placed on how often you can apply for Lifeline services. However, there are a few things to note when applying:
- If you or someone in your household already receives Lifeline, you cannot apply for another Lifeline service
- You are permitted to change Lifeline providers once every 90 days
- Each year, you’ll be asked to recertify your eligibility for Lifeline services
California Resubmission Guidelines
After applying, please note that it may take up to 30 days to process your California LifeLine application. To ensure proper processing, avoid submitting a new enrollment request until this initial period has concluded. This waiting period ends when the final eligibility decision is made, the enrollment request is cancelled or 30 days have passed. You will then be able to submit a new enrollment request.
